The agreement between you and The AEye. Last updated July 2026.
By creating an account or using theaeye.co (“Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
The AEye provides defensive Attack Surface Management tools: domain ownership verification, authorized passive recon, diagnostic tools (URL, email headers, IP, DNS, hash), findings workflow, and optional scheduled re-scans and email alerts. Features depend on your plan (Free, Pro, Team).
You may only scan, probe, or analyze systems you own or for which you have explicit written authorization. Unauthorized scanning, attacking, or testing of third-party infrastructure is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension and legal referral. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable law.
You must provide accurate registration information, keep credentials confidential, and enable available security features (e.g. email verification, 2FA). You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access at support@theaeye.co.
Free includes a limited domain-scan trial and basic tool quotas as described on the Pricing page. Paid plans: Pro $49/ month and Team $199/ month (or successor prices we publish). Until self-serve card checkout is enabled, paid plans may be activated manually after payment confirmation. When Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, or another processor is connected, their terms also apply to payment processing.
If you purchase a paid plan and request a refund within seven (7) days of first paid activation, and you have not substantially used the Service beyond fair-use evaluation (e.g. excessive automated scanning), we may refund unused prepaid amounts at our reasonable discretion. After 7 days, or after material use of paid quotas, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Contact support@theaeye.co with your account email and payment reference.
Recon and tools are best-effort defensive aids. We do not guarantee discovery of all vulnerabilities, subdomains, or threats. Results depend on public DNS, third-party sources (e.g. Certificate Transparency), and network conditions. The Service is not a substitute for professional penetration testing or compliance certification.
We retain all rights in the Service, branding, and software. You retain rights in your data and content. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.
We provide the Service on an as-available basis. We may modify features, rate limits, or plans with reasonable notice for material paid-feature changes. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or threaten platform stability.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The AEye and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 3 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service, unauthorized scanning, or violation of these Terms or law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations, non-payment, or risk to other users. Provisions that by nature should survive (liability, indemnity, IP) survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive venue, subject to those mandatory rights.
